How it all began
“The week before I met him, I told my roommates that I wanted to be with someone I could have deep conversations with as well as be silly. Our first conversation started with us joking around and our first date started with us talking about our research. We quickly realized we we’re on the same wavelength on everything.”

“We spent our first date huddled around a small fire trying to fight off the cold. We were outside for hours, but Lizzy and I clicked so much that we barely noticed how cold it was. On our second date, I went on a rant about how much I hated soccer refs (a rant I repeat too often) and somehow she didn’t run away. Ever since then, we’ve shared so many wonderful moments and have always been able to keep eachother laughing.”

We met on Hinge at the end of 2020 and had our first date around a fire pit at the Armadillo Den in Austin, TX.
Since then, we've shared countless outdoor adventures, trips, movie nights, and even weathered an ice storm together!
Now, we’re both settled in North Austin, have two beautiful dogs, and are surrounded by our two amazing families. After three years of making incredible memories, we’re very excited to make it official.
And the rest is history…
